Grizzly Bear Cub by kimbearlys Grizzly Bear Cub by kimbearlys
There is not a pattern for his face. He is slowly created - sculpted by hand with polymer clay, scissor sculpting, thread and needle. His facial features are all his own. Makes him a true OOAK. Sculpted eyes, Nose and mouth. He is hand painted, hand stitched and has the sweetest most wonderful little face. His paw pads are detailed down to perfection along with hand sculpted claws. This teddy bear is a OOAK One of a Kind. .

I love to play when I make this type of bear. I do have photos of real bears close by me.  Glad you like her.  She looks alive to me too. She went to a wonderful home. Have a fantastic day!

You say his facial features were sculpted, how did you get the shape of his muzzle? Did you sculpt that part then air brushed hair on it or something? :)
Really great job, he's so adorable!! :la:

Hi- I needle felt and then I paint- with thinned downed paints.  Glad you like her.  She was fun to create.

Hi- I needle sculpt-scissor sculpt- and use clay- hand-painted after. No airbrush. I am not good with the airbrush. I flood pieces when I use it. ( starts out with a pattern I made- then sewn and messed with all of the above)

This is so well done! Sometimes it's hard to capture the "baby" look, but you had no problem! :-)

I have always loved the baby look. I try to capture it is a lot of my artwork. I think it is the innocence of it. Glad you like him. Have a wonderful day!

Glad you like him. I do love taxidermy work- just not the kill of the animal. So- I guess this would be the next best thing....

Yeah, I love taxidermy as well, but I disagree with the killing, so I use animals that died naturally or for food, so theyre not being wasted :)
